Job description

Job Title: Physician - Gastroenterology

Join a leading gastroenterology practice located in the scenic Gainesville, GA area, near beautiful Lake Lanier. This well-established facility is committed to providing patient-centric care, ensuring high-quality, affordable services for the community's digestive health needs. With a team of over 200 providers, you will be part of a collaborative environment that emphasizes innovation and excellence in healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services at Gainesville and Braselton Medical Offices.
• Manage an average of 15-18 patients per day.
• Perform procedures such as Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, and Video Capsule Endoscopy.
• Work Monday to Friday with a 1:9 on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with a team of 4 MD/DOs and 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Participate in professional development opportunities within a respected practice.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
• Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain (REQUIRED)
• Demonstrated clean malpractice history (PREFERRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology is required.
• Eligible for a Georgia medical license.
• Visa support (J1 or H1B) is not available at this time.
