Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm - Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide hospital-based coverage including 24-hour call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
2. Perform outpatient procedures (3-4 per day) and inpatient procedures, along with consults.
3. Conduct ERCP procedures; EUS skills highly preferred.
4. Work with adult patients only.
5. Utilize the Cerner electronic medical record system to manage patient data.

Qualifications:

• Must have a genuine interest in locum to perm opportunities.
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
• Active Iowa medical license or IMLC.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability and willingness to work inpatient care.
• ERCP required; EUS highly preferred.
• COVID vaccination required.
• Clean malpractice history; any settled or pending cases must be documented upon submission.
