Job Opportunity: Physician at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging started in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits include:

• Annual income of approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume, for working 4 to 5 days a week

There is no weekend or night call, and malpractice insurance is paid for by the practice, including tail coverage. Over 19 years and more than 400,000 evaluations, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.

About Midwest Dysphagia Consultants: Our mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered using a mobile unit, as shown on our website.

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit at various facilities, private offices, and for homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
