Job description

Gastroenterology Opening in Conway, SC

Location: Conway, SC, approximately 40 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC. Full-Time, Permanent position.

Seeking a Board-eligible or Board-certified Gastroenterologist to join a non-profit hospital.

Job Details:

1. 50/50 split between clinic/lab and endoscopy.
2. Endoscopy procedures pre and post operating rooms; 8 operating rooms, 4 procedure rooms.
3. 8-day call schedule, 1 in 4.
4. Consultation services only for inpatient cases.
5. No specific tech requirements.
6. Current team includes 4 MDs and 1 NP in the clinic; 1 NP available daily.
7. Wait time for appointments is approximately 3+ weeks.
8. Procedure volume includes 500 inpatient and 4,500 outpatient cases.
9. Partnership with Duke aims to retain GI cancer cases within the network/clinic.
10. Clinic hours: 2.5 days per week; Lab hours: 2.5 days per week.
