Join an established, well-respected multispecialty group consisting of over 150 clinicians, including approximately 100 physicians and 50 advanced practice providers or other professionals, with a history of caring for its residents for more than 100 years. The practice is physician-owned and operated. Incoming physicians will initially be pre-shareholders for the first 2 years and are then invited to become shareholders. Each shareholder owns one share, and all shares are equal.

The location offers easy access to outdoor activities, being only an hour from Napa and a two-hour drive to Lake Tahoe, home to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record snowfall and stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

About the Position

• Specialty: General Gastroenterology
• Strong physician retention, with some team members having been with the group for 20-30 years

• Schedule: Full-time, with approximately 40% clinic and 60% operating room procedures
• Clinic: 20 scheduled patients per day, includes a procedure room
• Operating Room/ASC: 2-3 days per week
• Procedures: 100-120 per month, including EGD, PEG placement, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and some ERCP volume
• Call: 7 days per month, with physicians taking one week at a time; weekday call starting at 8 am, 24 hours; typical weekend call involves 0-3 consults or procedures per day
• EMR: Cerner
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Patient population: Diverse, ranging from agricultural workers to college professors
• Inpatient care managed by hospitalist program
