Overview

Job Specifics

• OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is building a gastroenterology group to meet future patient and physician demands.
• An additional gastroenterologist will join a team supported by four gastroenterologists, two advanced practice providers, and a referral base of over 70 primary care physicians in Bloomington and Pontiac.
• ERCP training preferred.
• Call schedule: 1:4.
• Visa sponsorship available: H1B visa options are available.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed by the DEA and Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty(s). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Qualified for OSF's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.

Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned with patient preferences, goals, and needs.
