Gastroenterology Opportunity in Austin, TX Suburb

Medical Center, a full-service community hospital located less than 20 minutes north of Austin, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established private group within the community.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in gastroenterology preferred, but open to new graduates.
• Proficient in general GI procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, PEG tube placement, basic hepatology, capsule endoscopy). ERCP training is preferred but not required. EUS training is optional. Advanced training in motility or EMR/ESD is optional.

Details:

• Salary Subsidy
• Large clinic supporting up to 3 providers simultaneously. TDDC endoscopy center attached to the clinic, located less than 2 miles from the hospital.
• Hospital call 1:3 in the first year, transitioning to 1:4 afterward. Covering a 100+ bed hospital. Expect more hospital work during the first year, with a transition to more outpatient work in subsequent years.
• Joining 2 other physicians on staff.
• NO VISA assistance available.
