Qualifications

• RN license in New York (Registered Nurse)
• Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• Master's Degree in Nursing
• ANCC certification or board certification in a clinical area of practice (as soon as feasible after NP program)
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize patient care according to protocols and care plans.
• Monitor cost effectiveness and service performance indicators.
• Assist in research protocol development and evaluation when applicable.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement clinical studies.
• Provide consultation about therapeutic regimens to nursing staff and family.
