Job summary

NYU Langone Health's Grossman School of Medicine in Brooklyn seeks a qualified Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology fluent in Russian. The role provides comprehensive nursing care under a collaborative practice with a supervising physician.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nursing and valid NP license in NY.
Current NY registration as Nurse Practitioner is required.
Board certification from ANCC or a similar specialty board is required (asap after graduation).
Basic Life Support certification (and DEA-eligible for prescribing) is required.

Responsibilities

Plans and coordinates care to meet patient needs per protocols and standards.
Collaborates with nursing staff and physicians to implement clinical studies and care plans.
Provides education and guidance to peers and other health professionals.
Prescribes medications, medical equipment, and therapies per NYS law and practice protocols.
