Job summary

The Manchester VA Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Gastroenterology outpatient clinic on an intermittent schedule. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality veterans care.

Applicants must hold a current RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and meet VA qualification standards. Experience in specialty clinics and BCMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with relevant accreditation.
• Eligible for licensure in the applicable state with clean record.
• May require temporary appointment during bridge program completion.
• Foreign-educated nurses must have degree equivalency validated.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage outpatient nursing care in Gastroenterology.
• Coordinate pre-procedure assessments and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align care with goals.
• Develop, implement, and revise clinical policies based on evidence.
• Provide coverage across clinics in the Specialty Department.
