Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Nurse Practitioner certification or program certificate required.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases within protocol guidelines; propose treatments.
• Document care and billing through charting and summaries.
• Participate in physician education on capitated medicine.
• Respond to RFPs for managed care contracts.
• Support QA, utilization management, MIS, patient education and satisfaction surveys.
• Assist in operational and capital budget development.
• Identify revenue opportunities and expense reductions through assessments.
• Maintain courteous relationships with management, physicians, patients and staff.
