Job summary

AdventHealth West Florida is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Florida. The APRN will partner with gastroenterologists to provide specialized care across outpatient and inpatient settings, performing H&Ps, dictation, and discharge summaries under physician direction.

The role requires an MSN, Florida ARNP licensure, BLS and AHA certifications, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• MSN required; ARNP license in Florida
• At least 1 year of experience
• AHA and BLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Performs H&Ps and documents in chart with orders as directed by supervising physician
• Performs pre-operative visits and follow-up exams
• Assists with coordination of clinical activities and orders
• Performs procedures under physician direction, including wound care and post-op care
