Job summary

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, seeks clinically-oriented, motility-focused gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Candidates will conduct motility-focused clinical care and contribute to teaching within advanced esophageal and general gastroenterology fellowships.

Appointments may be at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level depending on experience.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required with clinical duties
• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology
• California medical license or eligible according to Medical Board of California

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in motility-related gastroenterology (esophageal, gastric, intestinal, pelvic floor disorders).
• Serve as teaching faculty to trainees in advanced esophageal preceptorship and gastroenterology fellowship programs.
• Participate in divisional activities and academic service in an appointments framework (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor).
