United Digestive in Orange City, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff in a fast-paced gastroenterology office. You will manage patient flow, prepare charts in the EMR, assist with procedures, and ensure prompt handling of test results and prescriptions while maintaining patient confidentiality and courteous care.

Ideal candidates hold CMA/RMA certification with 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience; CPR is preferred.

Formación

• Current CMA/RMA certification or equivalent experience.
• CPR preferred; 2–3 years in gastroenterology or related specialty.
• Computer literate with EMR and Microsoft Office experience.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient flow and organize visits and in-office procedures.
• Triages patients, collects history, and assists with exam room prep.
• Handle test results, prescriptions, and patient inquiries promptly.
• Maintain charts in the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support staff with scheduling, check-in/out, and coordination.
