• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) within 1 year is preferred or required by some units.
• CPR certification for healthcare providers (AHA/Red Cross) within 90 days is required; additional certifications may vary by department.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with patient preparation for examinations and minor procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, vaccination administration, vital signs, and data entry in EMR.
• Provide clerical support and back up for Patient Services Coordinator as needed.
• Screen patients for preventative care needs and coordinate referrals/tests.
• Floats to other sites within the MedStar Health system as required.
