Corewell Health in United States (Saint Joseph, MI) seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to care teams. You will help with patient flow, prepare patients for visits, and maintain electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality.

You will greet patients, collect data, document care, and assist in quality improvement processes to enhance service delivery. A valid CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/RMA and BLS credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials listed (CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA/RMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Performs administrative duties and maintains current information in the electronic health record.
• Maintains and cleans the work environment and reports equipment issues.
• Greets patients and communicates with families with caring and respectful approach.
• Collects and monitors patient data, documents care per guidelines and codes services.
• Supports quality and cost-efficiency initiatives and participates in process improvements.
