Job summary

Pyramid Consulting Healthcare has an immediate need for a Gastroenterology Lab Technician for a 12-week onsite assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role supports endoscopy procedures, room setup, equipment handling, and strict infection-control practices.

Ideal candidates will have GI experience, AHA BLS certification, and the SGNA GI Tech certificate. The position offers a competitive hourly pay and lodging stipend for weekly travel support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years GI specialty experience.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare and set up endoscopy rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile/aseptic technique and follow infection-control standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and process endoscopes and other reusable equipment.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper functioning before procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transport, and recovery as needed.
• Anticipate the needs of the physician during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of supplies.
• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and regulatory policies.

Immediate need for a talented Gastroenterology Lab Technician. This is a 12-week contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite).

Pay Rate: $28.30/hr

Estimated Weekly Hours: 40hrs

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,803.30

Weekly Stipend (M&IE + Lodging): $671.30

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
