Job summary

CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas seeks a GI Hospitalist to join a physician-led medical group.

You will perform GI evaluations, develop treatment plans, and perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, potentially ERCP/EUS) in an inpatient setting, collaborating with intensivists and surgeons. This 7-on/7-off schedule supports work-life balance, with no outpatient clinic responsibilities and access to advanced equipment like the Da Vinci Robot Xi and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA certificate.
• Completion of ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Active BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive GI evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Conduct vital endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, potentially ERCP/EUS).
• Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons and other specialists for seamless patient transitions and coordinated care.

As a GI Hospitalist at CHI St. Vincent, you will join a physician-led medical group in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We are offering a competitive compensation package that includes an initial guaranteed base salary, performance-based incentives, CME allowance, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
• DEA certificate
• Completion of ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship
