Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a dedicated perioperative team delivering high-quality anesthesia care in a state-of-the-art hospital.

You will perform preoperative assessments, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and work closely with surgeons and nurses across multispecialty procedures, including OB cases, with an EPIC EMR system and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active Medical License in Arkansas or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Completion of ACGME Anesthesiology Residency.
• Active ACLS and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate individualized anesthesia plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and staff to deliver comprehensive anesthetic services.
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia with advanced airway management and ultrasound-guided techniques.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Anesthesiologist at CHI St. Vincent, you will serve as a critical member of our perioperative surgical team, delivering high-quality anesthetic care in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art medical environment. Every day you will manage a diverse patient caseload, conducting thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulating individualized anesthesia care plans tailored to each patient’s unique physiological needs. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and specialized medical staff to deliver comprehensive anesthetic services, ranging from preoperative assessment to complex intraoperative management.

To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional clinical judgment, advanced technical skills in airway management and ultrasound-guided procedures, and the ability to thrive under pressure in high-acuity situations. Excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach to bedside manner, and a proactive attitude toward collaborative teamwork and continuous medical education are essential for this clinical position.

• Established Team: Join 6 Physicians in a collaborative setting
• CRNA coverage provided by a large and experienced group.

• Manageable Call Rotation: Enjoy a consistent and supportive call schedule, offering post call day off by 9am.
• No Weekends Call Required
• Advanced EMR: System-wide utilization of EPIC.
• Trauma Center Affiliation: Southwest Arkansas's sole Level II Trauma Center.

We are offering a competitive compensation package that includes an initial guaranteed base salary, performance-based incentives, CME allowance, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Completion of ACGME Anesthesiology Residency
• Active ACLS and PALS
