Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join a hospital-employed GI service in Greenwood, South Carolina. The role focuses on inpatient-only gastroenterology with a flexible schedule that may allow 7-On / 7-Off if desired.

The candidate will work with a multispecialty team including surgery, critical care, and hospitalist medicine in a modern endoscopy center with established referral base and opportunities for advanced endoscopy.

• Inpatient care and GI procedures experience are expected.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage and procedures as part of a hospitalist GI team.
• Collaborate with surgery, critical care and hospitalist teams to manage acute GI conditions.
• Participate in endoscopy and patient care coordination within the hospital.
