Danbury Hospital, part of Northwell Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Hepatology and Liver Transplant program in Danbury, Connecticut. Come join us on our exciting journey as we expand the Digestive Health Institute at Nuvance Health in partnership with Northwell Health. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to become an integral member of our multidisciplinary Hepatology and Liver Transplant team. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with hepatologists, transplant physicians, gastroenterologists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver failure, and patients undergoing evaluation for and recovery following liver transplantation. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the continued development and growth of a regional hepatology and liver transplant program. Responsibilities will include both outpatient and inpatient care, with opportunities to participate in pre‑transplant evaluation, post‑transplant management, management of advanced liver disease, and coordination of care across the health system. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hepatology and liver transplantation and enjoy working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Experience caring for patients with complex liver disease is highly desirable.
Annual Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibilities.
