Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine by the ABIM (or equivalent).
• Eligibility for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• Completion of an ACGME Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Demonstrated competence in EGD and colonoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in Gastroenterology/Hepatology and educate learners across levels.
• Pursue scholarship or research aligned with UTMB's Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
• Collaborate across specialties to support UTMB's clinical, educational, and research missions.
