Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an MD/DO gastroenterology clinician with leadership and teaching responsibilities, focused on GI malignancies or immunotherapy research, on-site.

Responsibilities include overseeing advanced practice providers and fellows, delivering informal teaching and lectures to providers and the medical community; pursuing translational research in collaboration with UW and other partners.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Washington state.
• Active clinical research interests and publications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the gastroenterology service and contribute to patient care.
• Oversee advanced practice providers and fellows during inpatient and outpatient rotations.
• Deliver informal teaching sessions and formal lectures to providers and the medical community.
