Boston University’s Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a Gastrointestinal oncologist to provide high-quality GI cancer care within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical trials and translational research.

The ideal candidate will have MD/DO (or MD/PhD) with BC/BE in Medical Oncology (or Hematology/Oncology), be eligible for Massachusetts licensure, and engage in teaching residents and

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree.
• BC/BE in Medical Oncology. BE/BC in Hematology and Oncology is preferred.
• Licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care for patients with GI malignancies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in leadership roles within clinical trials and collaborative research across basic, translational, and health services domains.
• Contribute to teaching for students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Develop and participate in medical education initiatives and leadership activities related to the department and program.
