Position Overview

The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio seeks a full‑time academic Gastroenterology (GI) Clinician/Educator at the Assistant Professor rank to enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide and contribute to the delivery of inpatient GI consultation and inpatient endoscopy services performed at University Hospital.
• Participate in outpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services at the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System and at the Medical Arts & Research Center.
• Teach Gastroenterology Fellows in a diversity of clinical settings and mentor them in clinical research and scholarly pursuits.
