Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician to join our Gastroenterology South Endoscopy Centers in Tualatin and Oregon City. You will support physicians and staff, prepare patients, escort to rooms, and assist with procedures in a patient-focused environment.

Salary is competitive with two levels and benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans. Typical shifts are 6:30 am–5:00 pm, Mon–Fri, with some cross-site coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior EMR experience is preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
• Assist with procedures, perform tests/monitoring, and monitor sedated patients as needed.
• Reprocess and disinfect instruments.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to emergencies.
• Assist with post-procedure duties including recovery and patient transport.
• Support overall delivery of patient care in the department.
