Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions partnered with a medical center in Des Moines, IA to place a Gastroenterologist on a contract assignment.

The schedule is 7:00 am–3:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with no call or weekends and an expected 10–12 cases per day, including colonoscopy and EGD. Active U.S. medical license and board certification are required, along with DEA and BLS/ACLS. Travel and lodging are paid.

Medicus has partnered with a medical center in Des Moines, Iowa, with a contract assignment for a Gastroenterologist to assist their team.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 7a-3:30p, Tuesdays & Thursdays
• No call or weekends required
• 10-12 cases per day
• Duties: Evaluations, follow‑ups, consults, and proceduresFull range of colonoscopy and EGD procedures, including biopsies, polypectomies, snare removals, ablations, variceal banding, and control of bleeding
• Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified
• DEA, BLS/ACLS required
• Paid travel & expenses
