Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Gastroenterology Clinic. This full-time role covers Monday through Friday with dedicated patient care using the nursing process to support our GI team.

You'll perform plan of care interventions, document care, monitor patient status, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky required; compact license accepted.
• Certification: BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Performs plan of care interventions including meds and treatments.
• Documents care and monitors patient condition.
• Assists with activities of daily living and coordinates care with the team.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharges and education.
