Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate nursing care to gastroenterology patients
• Assess patient needs and communicate concerns to providers
• Perform telephone triage and respond to patient questions and concerns
• Review test/procedure results and communicate provider recommendations
• Coordinate follow-up care, testing, procedures and referrals
• Provide patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Work collaboratively with the gastroenterology team to ensure excellent patient experience
• Prioritize multiple patient needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
