Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider to join a growing GI team of physicians and APPs. You will contribute to both clinic and hospital-based care, with standard weekday hours, some rounding, and shared call coverage.

Experience with paracentesis is preferred but not required; Open to NP or PA candidates; hospital-employed position with base salary, production bonus, sign-on, relocation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Open to NP or PA candidates with GI interest.
• Board certification as PA-C or active NP licensure.
• Comfort with both clinic and hospital-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GI physicians and APPs in patient care.
• Manage daily clinic and hospital rounds with call coverage.
• Support procedures and assist in GI-related tasks.
• Participate in a high-volume GI program with paracentesis as preferred experience.

Position Details

• Full time, hospital employed, established program
• Joining GI physicians and APPs
• Standard weekday clinic hours with some rounding, shared call coverage
• Average 18-20 clinic patients and 5-10 hospital patients per day
• Paracentesis experience preferred but not required
• Open to NP and PA candidates
