Geisinger Gastroenterology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Specialty Clinic in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

You will work with physicians, APs, and nursing staff to deliver care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, and advocate for patients in a collaborative environment. You will report to the Chief Advanced Practitioner and split time between inpatient consults and outpatient clinic duties.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant (Required).
• BLS certification is required.
• NCCPA certification/licensure is required.

Aufgaben

• Join an established team of physicians, APs, and nursing staff.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks in collaboration with physicians.
• Act as patient advocate and liaison between patients, families and physicians.
• Report to the Chief Advanced Practitioner.
• Work in both clinic and hospital settings, alternating between inpatient consults and outpatient clinic duties.
