Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) per diem—Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to join the Cape May Court House team. The role supports gastroenterology services, collaborates with physicians and care teams, and focuses on high-quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant, NJ APN/RN or PA license, BLS, NCCPA, and at least two years’ gastroenterology experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in gastroenterology; gastroenterology experience is highly preferred.
• Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree is required.
• New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Certification: NCCPA.
• Scheduled Days / Hours: Per Diem - As needed.

Responsibilities

• The Advanced Practice Provider assumes responsibility for advanced practice provider within their scope of practice in a clinical specialty.
• In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
• Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
• The Advanced Practice Provider will serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
