Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking Advanced Practice Clinicians to join our Gastroenterology teams in Wisconsin and Illinois, delivering high-quality care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings.

This full-time position features a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 5pm, 40 hours per week, a competitive pay range, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing education and leadership opportunities within a large nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant license issued by the state where you practice.
• PA-C certification issued by the NCCPA.
• Registered Nurse license and NP certifications (ANCC or AANP).
• DEA registration and BLS certification; may obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute, critical and chronic illness in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Obtains medical histories, conducts physical examinations and prescribes therapy and treatments.
• Interprets data, performs minor procedures and orders/ interprets diagnostic studies.
• Provides care coordination and educates patients on health and self-care.
