Job summary

Swedish Health Services in Seattle is seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology physician to join the Digestive Health Institute & Organ Transplant Program. This is one of the largest Liver Transplant programs in the Pacific Northwest and its continuing to grow.

The role combines outpatient and inpatient consultations within a world-class team, offering opportunities in a major transplant program and access to a broad patient base in the Seattle

Qualifications

  • Must be board-eligible/board-certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Board Certification in Transplant Hepatology is desirable but not required.
  • Open to applicants who have done a Hepatology Fellowship after internal medicine residency.
  • Opportunity for professional growth.
  • Combination outpatient and inpatient position involving mix of office and in-hospital consultations.
  • Hospital call supported by nighttime nurse triage phone service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient GI and hepatology care in a large university-affiliated program.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage liver transplant patients.
  • Participate in a growing consultative practice and complex referrals.

Job description

Swedish is seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology physician to join the Swedish Digestive Health Institute & Organ Transplant Program. This is one of the largest Liver Transplant programs in the Pacific Northwest and its continuing to grow. Swedish Gastroenterology is a 20-physician, ten-mid-level-provider employed group with a growing consultative practice that combines tertiary and quaternary referral care, including liver transplantation, therapeutic ERCP/EUS, POEM and deep enteroscopy, with GI care for a large, well‑established Primary Care network all in and around Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Compensation is between $397,149 and $668,314 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
