Job summary

Swedish Medical Group in Seattle seeks a full-time, board-certified/eligible Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology physician to join the Digestive Health Institute & Organ Transplant Program. The program is among the largest Liver Transplant programs in the Pacific Northwest, with a growing consultative practice and access to a broad GI service line.

The role combines outpatient and inpatient duties, with a night nurse triage system for calls.

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible/board-certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Board Certification in Transplant Hepatology is desirable but not required.
  • Open to applicants who have done a Hepatology Fellowship after internal medicine residency.
  • ERCP/EUS skills not required.

Responsibilities

  • Combination outpatient and inpatient position involving mix of office and in-hospital consultations.
  • Hospital call supported by nighttime nurse triage phone service.

Job description

Swedish is seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology physician to join the Swedish Digestive Health Institute & Organ Transplant Program. This is one of the largest Liver Transplant programs in the Pacific Northwest and it's continuing to grow. Swedish Gastroenterology is a 20-physician, ten-mid-level-provider employed group with a growing consultative practice that combines tertiary and quaternary referral care, including liver transplantation, therapeutic ERCP/EUS, POEM and deep enteroscopy, with GI care for a large, well-established Primary Care network all in and around Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.   • Must be board-eligible/board-certified in Gastroenterology
  • Board Certification in Transplant Hepatology is desirable but not required

  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them
