Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Riverview Regional Medical Center in Alabama seeks a gastroenterologist for a hospital-employed, solo practice position. You will perform EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, HALO, EMR and fecal transplant, with outpatient visits and a 1/3 call schedule.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some night and weekend coverage as needed. Competitive benefits include sign-on and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board eligible or certified to practice gastroenterology in Alabama.
• Unrestricted Alabama medical license and current BLS/ACLS/DEA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Solo practice within a hospital-employed model.
• Perform gastroenterology procedures: EGDs, colonoscopy, Bravo, ERCP, HALO, EMR, fecal transplant.
• See out-patient clinic visits and manage daytime call schedule (1/3).
• Work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some nights/weekends as required.
