Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL is seeking a gastroenterologist for a solo practice within a hospital-employed model. The role includes outpatient visits and advanced endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, Fecal Transplant) with a 1/3 call schedule, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, some nights/weekends.

Candidates must complete internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship; board eligible/board certified; hold an unrestricted Alabama physician license and current

Qualifications

• Internal medicine residency completed.
• Gastroenterology fellowship completed.
• Board eligible or board certified; unrestricted Alabama license; BLS/ACLS/AL DEA current.

Responsibilities

• Endoscopic procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EMR, HALO, BRAVO, fecal transplant.
• Outpatient clinic visits.
• 1/3 call schedule.
• Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; some nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with GI team and hospital staff.

• Call Schedule 1/3


• Monday- Friday (8am-5pm) some night and weekend required
