Piper Companies is seeking a Gastroenterologist Principal Investigator (PI) to join a a trusted leader advancing the future of medicine for a part time onsite position located in Chattanooga, Tennessee (TN). The Gastroenterologist Principal Investigator (PI) will lead and oversee clinical trials, ensuring participant safety, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of research protocols.

Responsibilities of the Gastroenterologist Principal Investigator (PI) include:

• Provide clinical leadership and expertise in conducting clinical trials, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
• Oversee and lead clinical staff in successfully executing research protocols and managing trial operations.
• Conduct physical exams and assess study participants for eligibility according to research protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including biopharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications for the Gastroenterologist Principal Investigator (PI) include:

• Minimum of 10 years of post-training experience as a physician specializing in gastroenterology or hepatology.
• Active medical license in the state of hire with no history of suspension or debarment.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and sponsors, along with strong leadership qualities.
• Prior clinical research experience and advanced knowledge of treatment methodologies and drug interactions.

Compensation for the Gastroenterologist Principal Investigator (PI):

• Salary Range:$200,000-$250,000 /year plus bonus
• Comprehensive Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
