Job summary

VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, Virginia seeks a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our team. J1 candidates are encouraged to apply, in a collaborative and supportive environment within a superb hospital system.

Responsibilities include a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule, 10 days of monthly on-call with evenings and weekends, plus additional call pay. The role features 2 clinic days and 3 days dedicated to procedures each week.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in gastroenterology.
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology from an accredited training program
• Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty at VCU.
