Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician to join our Georgia practice starting in 2028. This full-time role offers collaboration with a fellow gastroenterologist, four general surgeons, and advanced practice providers, performing ERCPs and general gastroenterology.

The position balances outpatient clinic consultations with endoscopy procedures, participates in a shared call schedule with compensation for extra call, and offers teaching opportunities with students and residents.

Qualifications

• Completion or near completion of a gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board certified or board certification eligible, with certification to be obtained within five years if not already certified.
• Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Experience with EUS procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ERCP, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and capsule endoscopy.
• Split weekly duties between outpatient clinic consultations and endoscopy.
• Engage in a shared call schedule with additional compensation for extra call duties.
• Participate in teaching activities with medical students and residents.
