Job summary

Griffin Health in Derby, CT is seeking a Gastroenterologist to diagnose, treat, and manage digestive system disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings. The physician will perform endoscopic procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote high-quality patient-centered care.

The role includes inpatient consultations, shared call coverage, and engaging in quality, compliance, and education efforts. Board-certified/eligible physicians with GI fellowship are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Current state medical license or eligibility; board certified/eligible.
• DEA registration as required.
• Strong clinical and procedural gastroenterology skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage GI tract and liver disorders.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and interpret results.
• Provide inpatient consultations and participate in call rotation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and prevention.
