Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise and interest in Pancreatology.
• Experience managing complex pancreatic disorders preferred.
• Strong commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and mentorship.
• Eligible for or able to obtain an Illinois medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and management of patients with pancreatic disorders and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and other learners while supporting program development and clinical innovation.
• Play a key role in expanding specialized services, improving patient access, and advancing education and multidisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across gastroenterology, surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, and other relevant specialties.
• Develop and enhance clinical programs related to pancreatic disease.
• Contribute to medical education, trainee teaching, and mentorship.
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and academic pursuits.
