Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible) for New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a practice.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of labs, imaging, and pathology reports.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group, managing a high-volume GI practice.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, and biliary tract diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with pharmacological and lifestyle interventions.
• Perform and interpret colonoscopies and EGDs for screening and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support clinical workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and oncologists.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and chronic liver disease management.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
