Job description

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our hospital-employed, well-established group!

  1. Currently, our group consists of 6 physicians, with a growing community demand for an additional physician.
  2. Physicians see 15-25 patients per day in the clinic.
  3. All approved gastroenterological procedures, including M2A Capsule, EUS, and ERCP, are performed by our group.
  4. Our group has 14 exam rooms and is located in a medical professional tower attached to the hospital.
  5. We employ 37 full-time staff, including an on-site office manager, receptionist, RNs, and 4 Nurse Practitioners in the hospital.
  6. Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab performs over 1,200 procedures monthly, with 24-hour in-house radiology coverage.
  7. The position offers an excellent compensation package, including a competitive salary with wRVU-based incentives, paid vacation, CME allowance, health and life insurance, malpractice insurance, and a 401k plan with employer contribution.

Huntsville Hospital, with 901 licensed beds, is one of the largest locally owned not-for-profit hospitals in the nation and the second-largest healthcare system in Alabama.
