Job summary

LocumTenens.com has a gastroenterology locum tenens opportunity in the New Jersey/coastal region. The clinician will cover outpatient clinic duties from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with no call requirements and support from APPs, RNs, and MAs.

The schedule includes procedural days with anesthesia support and multiple GI procedures per day. The assignment runs November 16 through May 16, with a minimum of one week per month. ERCP experience is required; EUS is not required.

Qualifications

• ERCP experience required.
• Ability to perform general GI procedures including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform GI procedures: colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, upper endoscopy, gastroscopy, and related interventions.
• Provide patient care in an outpatient clinic Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no call.
• Collaborate with anesthesia support and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
