Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an outpatient, clinic-based assignment in New Jersey. The role runs November 16 through May 16, with a minimum of one week per month, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., no nightly call.

Procedures include colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and other general GI cases; ERCP experience is required. EUS not required. Team support includes APPs, RNs, and MAs.

Qualifications

• ERCP experience is required and ERCP-related procedures are possible depending on assignment.
• Board-certified gastroenterology expertise preferred for outpatient clinic work.
• Candidates must be able to work in an experienced clinical support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, clinic-based gastroenterology care for adults.
• Perform general GI procedures including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Coordinate with APPs, RNs, and MAs to deliver patient-centered care.
• Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no nightly call.
