Job summary

CompHealth offers locum opportunities with a full support team to handle credentialing, housing, travel and malpractice coverage. You’ll focus on GI procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings, with a typical mix of endoscopy and related duties.

Qualifications

• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy are required.
• ERCP, PEG, esophageal dilatation and variceal injection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.
• Manage outpatient and inpatient procedures with the assigned patient load.

• Mon - Fri, 7 am - 5 pm; on-call nights 2 days/week and weekends
• Outpatient: 10 - 15 ppd; inpatient: 3 - 5 ppd; 10 - 15 procedures/day
• Outpatient clinic -- 1 day/week; 4 endoscopy days per week
• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy required
• Preferred: ERCP, PEG, esophageal dilatation, and variceal injection
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
