Job summary

CompHealth is assisting in recruiting a Gastroenterology hospitalist in Washington state. The role focuses on inpatient care, with upper and lower GI endoscopy including biopsy, foreign body removal, and polyp excision.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 8 am–5 pm, about five patients per shift. Housing, travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage are arranged; credentialing is streamlined; a helpful online portal provides assignment details and time entry.

Qualifications

• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal required.
• Lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision required.
• Gastro hospitalist role with inpatient focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as requested.
• Care for inpatients in a GI hospitalist setting.
• Coordinate with support teams for patient care and discharge.
