LocumTenens.com seeks a gastroenterologist to cover inpatient and clinic gastroenterology needs on days, with on-site facility support and a structured call schedule. The role includes performing procedures and managing an average daily census in a hospital setting.

Board-certified gastroenterologists with ERCP proficiency and EPIC EMR experience are preferred, working in a two-endoscopy-suite facility located on-site in a Virginia region.

Qualifications

• Board certification in gastroenterology is required.
• Inpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology care experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology coverage.
• Manage daily census of 20-25 patients and 8-10 admissions.
• Perform ~4 procedures per day with 2-4 add-ons; ERCP preferred.
• On-site facility with 2 endoscopy suites; call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
