Job summary

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA is seeking a General or Advanced BC/BE Gastroenterologist to lead its newly created GI service line.

This full-time position blends outpatient clinic, endoscopy and inpatient consultations, with a collaborative, physician-led system that supports quality patient care. The role includes opportunities for standard and advanced endoscopic procedures, a shared call schedule, and a strong compensation package with benefits.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Gastroenterology or eligibility.
• Louisiana medical license or eligibility to practice in LA.
• Diagnostic and Therapeutic ERCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Blend of outpatient clinic, endoscopy and inpatient consultations/procedures.
• Provide gastroenterology care in clinic and endoscopy settings.
• Collaborate with the hospital and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic teams.
• Share call responsibilities.
